Herts Beekeepers Autumn Honey Show 2023

The Hertfordshire Beekeepers Autumn Honey Show takes place on Saturday 30th September at the Christchurch Peartree Hall, 20 Tewin Road, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 1BW.

Competition Entry

The competition classes are as follows:

  1. Super frame ready to extract
  2. One 1lb jar of runny honey – light colour
  3. One 1lb jar of runny honey – medium or dark colour
  4. One 1lb jar of crystallised or soft set honey
  5. One 1lb jar of honey from a beginner
  6. One bottle of mead
  7. One honey cake
  8. Five beeswax blocks
  9. Two matching beeswax candles
  10. Colour or black and white photograph
  11. Craft item

To enter the honey competition please download the Schedule of Classes document, review the rules for the classes you want to enter and then fill in the entry form:

Refreshments

Tea, coffee and cake will be served throughout the day, but please bring your own lunch.
