The honey is judged by the attendees at the show according to which they like the best. We’ll be presenting the Oonagh Gabriel Memorial Cup to the winner at 2.30pm.
AGM
We’ll be holding a short AGM at 11.30am. This will review the activities and accounts from the last year and also elect new Trustees and officers of the Exec Committee. The agenda for the meeting and the associated documents can be found here.
Speaker
Peter Davies
Peter is the Regional Bee Inspector for Eastern England, which covers Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. He has been actively involved in finding and removing Asian Hornet nests since they were first found in this country in 2016. In his talk he’ll be giving us an update on the spread of Asian Hornet, what we can expect in the coming year and what practical measures we should be taking as beekeepers.
